Juror's Talk: "Symphony of the Mountains" Mixed Media Exhibit

Join Juror Kathleen Curtis Wilson as she discusses the diversity in technique, theme, materials, technologies and color use on display and the exploratory approach taken by many of the artists chosen in this exhibit of mixed media artworks. Produced by the Handweavers Guild of America, Inc. (HGA), the Symphony of the Mountains exhibit and juror's talk was originally scheduled to take place at the 2020 Convergence® conference that was going to take place in Knoxville in July. The conference was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the exhibit and juror's talk are now virtual. Participating artists have been invited to show their work at the 2022 Convergence® conference rescheduled for July 15-21, 2022 in Knoxville, TN. View Symphony of the Mountains online.
 
The Juror's Talk will be conducted via HGA's Zoom platform and will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 1 - 2 pm EST. Registration for the live event will close at 12:00 PM EST. All registrants and anyone who registers after registration closes for the live event will receive access to an "on demand" recording of the juror's talk. A link will be emailed 24 hours after the juror's talk has ended.
