2020 Handwoven Kitchen Towel Exchange

HGA Individual, Family, Student and Professional Artists members are invited to participate in a weaving exchange and increase your handwoven towel stash. Participants will each send five towels and will receive five wonderful new towels. Not a member? Join today! Guidelines

Towels must be woven from cotton, linen, hemp, or any combination of these fibers.
Finished size is to be 18” x 25”. Please plan ahead to address shrinkage and pull-in.
Finish with a hem either hand-sewn or machine-sewn.
Weave five towels.
Include five (5) copies of the draft and treadling, thread samples, and source.
Include five (5) printed forms with your name, contact information and any additional information you would like to share with your towel recipients.
Towels, drafts, contact information and a self-addressed paid envelope may be mailed beginning August 1, 2020 and must be received by the exchange administrator no later than August 31, 2020. DO NOT MAIL TO THE HGA OFFICE. Instructions for mailing will be emailed with your registration confirmation.
Towels will be exchanged and returned by September 30, 2020.
